Exhausted Japanese Pitch Puppies. When I first saw these puppies, I thought they were Samoyeds so I did a little research. Yes, there are Japanese Pitch dogs and they look almost exactly like a Samoyed, at least by photographs. The Pitch dogs are slightly smaller than the Samoyed females and when you look at their faces, their eyes are slightly different. They are practically identical in all other ways. Amazing!
This Dingo puppies were born at the Fort Wayne Zoo a few months ago. This litter is unusual in that there are 3 different colorings. Normally Dingo litters are all one color. Dingoes are native to Australia and are free-roaming wild dogs. Some say they are descendants of wolves and some say there is domestic dog mixed in also. They look like regular puppies to me.
